Could someone explain vtec to me my dad is an awesome mechanic but Honda's Arnt his forte he's more of an old school musclecar Guy. Nothing wrong with that just saying. But he says vtec is just a name I've tried to tell him it isn't so will someone please explain what vtec is an how it works for me Plz an thanks

No, I just decided not to add another pointless argument to the thread. Vtec is overrated and so is DOHC. At least in the modified world.

what would i have to do to switch it over? i know i have to have a vtec head but thats about it.
