on my way home tonight i was driving and my vtec was acting weird. its a 98 gsr with i/h/e. well to get to the point it didnt engage at 4400 and then started to hit really hard at around 5500 then stoped then hit again any one have any idea what is going on with my teg

 

5500 is when ur secondary butterflies open in the intake manifold..

 

definetly not that i know what my vtec is supposed to feel like

 

check ur oil pressure..

its real low thats the prolbem

 

vtec is affected by low oil pressure...that might be ur problem...whats ur oil level at?
