I'm afraid not. find your throttle body and drop straight down to the tranny. The sensor coming out is your vss. should be held in by 2 10mm bolts.

Ive go no speedo/odo. Tack ok,
Fuse 15 (if thats right) is fine
connector getting power and ground.

Hard to imagine the thing just failed out of nowhere, it was working before the build, then not after. At first I thought I didnt hook everything back up from my clutch/turbo install, but every things right.

Then I wondered if its maybe the p06 ecu, but thats unliikely right?

I noticed my speedo wasnt working, and eventually it throws a check engine code,

then I noticed in s300 that its saying that the speed sensor is throwing the code.

Could it really be the sensor? out of nowhere?

Any ideas?

Thanks again

Yes that is part of the vss. Don't be surprised if the speedo just quit. These part are over 15 yrs old and are showing their age!

i did the clutch in my r and it stopped working. my problem was corrosion in the connector and up the harnesses. i ended up getting a speed sensor off of ebay for $24. i used an automatic one and just swapped the sensor they are the same thing 94-01. i had to make an overlay harness for the sensor though cause the corrsion went to far into the factory harness. and reset your ecu, for some reason i had to everytime i had the sensor off. it wouldnt read the signal till i pulled the radio fuse for 10 seconds.
