VIS.

i got a VIS hood, but i have a big feeling that its a replica.
whats the best way of identifying it?

usually they have the VIS logo under the hood by the latch.

it has a logo, but how hard it is to make a fake logo?
i am asking this because it doesnt fit perfect.

well i do know a couple of DA friends who's hoods didn't fit as well, due to just fitment problems, or the front end was in a mild or big accident. my 2 hoods fit perfect on my ls and gs-r.
