i beleive that one of my valve spring is no good anymore cuz i hear this dump dump sound from my engine. i was wondering if there was any performance valve springs or just stock or itr springs. also how much should the spring be worth?

 

i would do a compression test and leakdown test if you are hearing that noise..... itr springs arent too expensive. i would be a little worried hearing that noise...

 

I am not sure how you immediately derive valvespring from a dump dump noise - you should take a sound clip from you car so we can hear it...dump dump doesnt help lol.

I would do a Comp test as Slain mentioned though for sure.

 

Could be a lost motion assembly too, dose it make this noise when idling?

while its idling is when it makes that sound .. about 45k on the motor (b18c1motor)

 

is your idle rough?

 

ohh had the prob fix ..it wasnt the spring .. it was just a spark plugs that was loose in the engine .. so just tighted it and the nosie went away. thanks anyways guys
