Default VAFC Question

I am going to install my VAFC later today and was wondering about a couple of things.

First off I am not going to get the thing dyno tuned for another 2 weeks, which would be after my cam gears and JDM 4-1 are on, so I need some help till then. I am going to the track this weekend and wanted to get a little out of it before I go.

Can someone tell me whether, with stock cams, I should raise/lower the VTEC point to gain a little something? What about the fuel curve? Just basically any little hints that I can use at the track this weekend before the VAFC get's tuned.

Thanks in advance.

if its a GSR leave it where it is. Try leaning it out 3-4%. The stock ecu is pretty rich.

Thank you. Should I lean it out all the way across? Only top end? Bottom end?

Anyone else wanna touch on this?

what up bro, where are you at in chicago? i live in the n.suburbs and im down in the city and elgin, schaumberg area sometimes... hit me up at my e-mail sometime and we can hook-up... are you going to the track on oct.21? it's a drag wars event that im sure will get rained out... but i got a teg with a v-afc and i lowered my vtec to 5100h and 4700... i've been messing around at the track and the only reason i got it that low is because i still have my ls tranny which is killing me... my best time so far is a 15.1 with a pretty much stock teg... hit me up we can talk sometimes... and i should be getting my tranny by next week or sometime(i hope)...

You can mount in on your dash, by your ashtray, or in between the shifter and ebrake. that's where i have mine, its easily accessible. I have it secured with velcro so I can hide it when parking somewhere so thieves won't see it.
