Vafc problem...HELP..

Default Vafc problem...HELP..

Whenever i connect the vafc to my ecu and i am doing the intialization, and i turn off ignition so that the settings can be saved, its being reset everytime on the vafc ..i am clueless wat to do i have gone through the wiring over and over and it jus not working, you guys have any clue as to why this is happening??

well it works very similar to a CD deck. It should ALWAYS be getting a power signal to save settings and then it also gets a signal from your ignition when you turn the car on to actually turn the VAFC on. Maybe you have 2 wires mixed up..... or your VAFC could be defective.

Did you wire it yourself?
I suggest just ordering a Plug and Play Harness.

Its about $140, but it saves you the headach of splicing and/or paying someone to install it.

If you decide to do this... or your ABSOLUTLY POSITIVE its wired correctly, id just contact APEXi and tell them the problem. If you bought it from an APEXi authorized dealer, it should be under warentee.
