VAFC help...
I had a friendly shop install my VAFC unit the other day, and when I came back to the car, theyve played around a bit with the settings.
Here's the setup as of right now:
Fuel PSI at 36
Now the car runs reallllly rich thoughout the powerband (going to a dyno tuner as soon as I find one around RI, MA, CT..). So for basic tuning, a friend of mine advanced the timing 2 degrees and leaned out the fuel a bit more in the begging. We are going to play with the Idle control on the actual throttle body as soon as we get time.
But everytime I start up the car, the previous settings are always reset (Set to 6 cylinders etc etc) Is there any reason why the VAFC might be resetting itself? Everything else works fine, it tunes good. Other than not saving of course :/
Any advice guys?

thats odd, i never encountered that problem. I would take it somewhere else and have them check the wiring, or take some time and look at the schematic for the wiring and make sure they are all in the right place.
i dont know if you got this fixed yet, but go into the etc. menu, go down to initialize, and make sure it is on no. if you have it on yes, it will reset constantly.
