Unusual build need tips/comments/pointers LS Vtec
I have been acquiring parts and piecing together an lsvtec for my daily driver 2000 integra ls manual. However I decided to change my plans since I depend on this vehicle way too much. So I found a 1995 Automatic ls integra which was wrecked for 500 bucks. The intent of this alternate integra is to turn it into a track car, a circle dirt track car. I have already got the roll cage and the motor is built but the only issue is wiring for an automatic. I plan on tuning with crome, chipped and wideband but the transmission is an ls automatic. If shifting is impossible I am even open to the thought of leaving it in like second or third and keeping it there whichever provides me with the best powerband for a lap. Right now we are going to race the stock ls motor but we want to put the lsvtec motor into the car since it has a built bottom end with a ported polished gsr head. It is going to be a lot of work but we want to know if it is possible to run this setup with an automatic transmission. I have been spending a bit too much money so doing a tranny conversion isnt an option. Any info will be helpful thanks!

I heard an idea, leave the stock LS ecu in place install the lsvtec motor and just piggy back a vafc vtec controller to run the vtec on the new motor thus keeping all the stock tranny setup in place. Sound feasable?
it should, work, a guy i know had a auto ls/vtec integra
he used chrome to acheive this, but you also could get a auto vtec ecu from japan
