any B series header will fit on a b series block. i have a B18A1 engine with an ITR 1peice header and it fit perfectly. so you shouldnt have a problem.

well...the header bolts to the head not to the block...so will it fit on the ls head and will it still be long/short enough to fit to the stock cat

yeah because I have the LS head and it bolts on perfect its a little longer but nothing major it will fit your stock cat. its just a bitch to install because its once peice, you have to put the car on a hoist and install it under the engine but other than that you should be a go

this confuses me.

i was in the market for a carb legal header for my 2001 gs-r. i picked up a USDM ITR header for free so i was about the slap that on, but most people said not to waste your time because the USDM ITR header is almost the same shiet as the stock gsr header. then i came across a comp-tech header that came off a LS, but once i was about to make the purchase someone told me that it wont work on my car because it was a NON-vtech model. can someone help me clear this up?

USDM ITR, non-VTEC, and '00-'01 GS-R manifolds/headers are all interchangeable. Therefore, jman86, the Type-R header will bolt up to your car just fine, and smooze EK, the Comptech LS header will fit your GS-R with no problems.

thanks.

but is there a difference in the design at all? for example, if i were to bolt up the NON-vtech comptech LS header to my 01 gsr will it perform just the same as a vtech comptech header?

sure the header will bolt up to the head. the problem is the lengths to the cat are diffrent throughout the year and models.

The part numbers for all 3 Comptech headers are the same.

As stated above, the only header out of all the different Integra models that is a different length is the '94-'99 GS-R. All the others are completely interchangeable.
