Hey whats up im helping my friend build up his ls. I'm knew to the honda turbo seen since im an eclipse guy. I think he should build his engine before turbo, should he? Is it better to build b18b or just get an b18c1? Also if he does do internals what size trubo to go with. I'm thinking t3/t4 setup with .63 a/r. He wants to push around 215 at the wheels. We have about 3 grand to play with now. Sorry for the vague question but having trouble finding where to look on this website.

 

Also as far as fuel i was thinking 440cc injectors, 190fuel pump, and an safc2 or possibly even handata, but i really dont know much about it. He would probably be running about 7 to 12 pounds of boost depending on the internal setup.

 

if he aiming for the 215 whp mark stock ls engine with 7 to 9 psi will hit that mark no problem with a good tune.

at 215hp, he'll be fine on Stock internals, with a nice tune.
