Built LS/Vtec or Built LS turbo
Currently I am running a custom turbo kit on a 1996 Integra LS. I am planning on building the motor with only the best parts for around $5k. With this setup I will hope push around 300hp to the wheels. Or, I can build an LS/Vtec setup with hondata for around $5k and sell my turbo kit for other parts such as a good header, intake, and have cash left over. With this setup I hope to hit 245hp at the wheels.
What should I do???

explain to me how you can make about 300 hp on a stock LS... is that 300 hp at the wheel or at the crank?.. how much boost are we talking about.. etc.. stuff like that... i am curious..
with a nice big turbo like a big t3/t4 or a 60-1 t4 and a huge intercooler core boosting no more then about 15psi on stand alone ecu 300+hp
i know i made over 300hp on stock h23 and i seen a stock b16 make 330hp stock
and @ the wheels

Why not go LS/Vtec turbo??? A b16A head has FAR FAR better flowing capabilities in stock form than a ported B18B head. Here is a direct message from Larry Widmer about the B18B head
The LS heads require un un-godly amount of work (including custom-made
valves) before they can perform on par with stock B16 heads. We've really
reached a point where we don't like to do them because it takes so many days
of work and we can't really justify passing the cost per hour on to our
customers.
My best suggestion is that you get the B16 head, as it's breathing
capability in stock form is good, and it's potential when ported is
outstanding.
We're not trying to make money off this recommendation, but we are trying to
see you get maximum performance for your dollar spent.
