when i bought my 99 LS used, i could never open the trunk from the switch in the back. its not that latch that's the problem its that the unit gets no power so i can only open the hatch with a key. i was wondering if my alarm could have disabled that latch or just a fuse is missing somewhere. my trunk opens fine, its just that i would like to re-enable that switch becuase its more convienent. thank you

 

update. i found out that i took out the ground. i have power now, but the latch doesn't move at all. any ideas?
