troubleshooting help...code1...not o2 sensor
ok well let me start of by sayin thankyou to anyone that even looks at this post cause i cant seem to find out what is causing this problem and any help is appreciated
b18b its throwing a code 1 which is o2 sensor and it used to throw a code 41 which is also the o2..so i replaced it with a gsr 02 and now code 41 is gone but 1 still remains....
the problem is that after the car warms up it cant hold its idle well at all the rpms will rise up a little bit then fall to 0 and just bounce a little bit above it...sometimes it stalls but not very often and when its doin this if i have ac on the ac will click on and off cause the rpms are toolow when its on the downside of the bounce..this happens ac on or not so ac is not the problem
im thinkin maybe dist but i wanted to hear some more educated opinions first before i start buyin **** and swapin parts
also if ileft out anything that could help solve my only problem left with this swap let me know
thanks again

code 41 Primary oxygen sensor heater
code 1 O2A - Oxygen sensor #1
some o2 sensors are 4 wire, and some are not. did u make sure thats the right one for ur car? also some cars have more than one oxygen sensor.
obd1? or 2? gsr motor?

its a 97 ls converted to obd1 with one o2 sensor and no cat...i replaced the stock ls 4 wire with a 4 wire gsr and it took care of code 41 and does run much smoother and from how my a/f reads it looks to be running correctly but when it does drop rpms and have problems with holding idle it runs very lean and stumbles when accelerating
ie when running good gauge is quick and responsive to any gas it gets and when its warmed up its almost always all the way lean
also when i turn off the car and turn it back on it runs smooth again for a couple mins
thanks for the reply...anything else i need to say to get more help just let me know thats all i can think of right now

yes i did reset the ecu and it took care of 41 but code1 still remains and i am lucky enough to live in tampa so i met up with someone out here off tamparacing.com cause that site is the **** for us and trading parts
thanks for the replys...hopefully someone will read this that has had the same problem and can help
