Default trouble codes need help...

ok today i checked my check engine lights... they read 67 and 90 i looked them up but no 67 shows... and 90 i dont under stand... can anyone help me on this??? please dont say search i just need someone to tell me what they mean and how can i fix them... any positive info is greatly appreciated...

I believe 67 is catalyst low efficiency. That should be the same as P0420, but I see in the sticky list up top that's missing... Could be either a bad cat or a flaky 2nd O2 sensor.

90 means your gas tank or the EVAP system (charcoal canister & hoses) isn't airtight like it should be. You'll get that one if you don't tighten your gas cap, but it can also be caused by a loose vacuum hose somewhere.

yeah 67 is correct thanx... also i just changed my 2nd o2 sensor about 2 weeks ago.... could it be i wired it wrong?? can u change the wires to ur o2 sensor from the inside??? how would i fix both of those codes??? and can they affect the performance on ur car??? any thing helps thanx again....

Yeah, I IM'ed Nick & he added 67 to the list...

Those 2 codes are probably not related to each other. Yes, you can wire the sensor up wrong, unless you bought an OEM one & just plugged it in. But I think if it was wired wrong the ECU would get a totally bogus signal & you'd have code 63 & maybe 65.

Code 90 means you should look for a vacuum leak in your gas tank or anywhere in the EVAP system (lots of hoses & several valves). You could reset your ECU & see if it comes back.
