Nice "Road Warrior" Wheels. I can get you a Civic Y21/S21 or an Integra Y80/S80 for about $500 shipped from Japan.

See if you can get a B16 tranny (hydro) if you can.

Same as Type R except for the finial drive.

Is this a test of two gearboxes on the same engine? If so, shouldn't the first gear be the same since they both have the same first gear?

Yes they have the same first and second gear, but what skews it is the FD. You have to take that into consideration.

Both the USDM gsr and itr trannies come with a 4.40 final drive. Only the JDM ITR tranny in '98+ are the ones with the 4.7x final drives. It should be the same on the graph...

http://www.bseries.net/html/specs/btrannyspecs.php

go there it will show you all the gear ratios for all b series transmissions.
it also has the codes, as for the gsr tranny (mated with a b18c1, gsr, motor) the code is Y80. you can see this on a small plate right on the edge of the tranny, where the tranny meets the block when mounted. it should say Y80 and then a bunch of numbers.
