a friend of mine recently swapped his girl's teg's tranny. it's an auto tranny. and since ive also got a teg, they've asked me about y the tranny slipps.

it's an automatic with about 60K on the tranny. whats weird about it is sometimes, the car doesnt know when to upshift/down shift. its like it gets stuck. and ive driven it. and i found like id have to take my foot off the pedal sometimes. is there a way to adjust the gear ratio? i guess would be my question...

 

for how long the tranny that you put in there was sitting

it happened to me that when I blew my tranny and changed it
it was doing the same thing as you mentioned.

so you know how pissed I was

eventually after a couple of weeks it went away.

 

u know.. i have no clue.

but all i know is that.. we've tried adjusting those cables.. the one from the throttle body to the tranny.. and still actin weird. is there a way to fix it? other than just waiting for it to go away?
