tranny problem
ok so i just put a new clutch in my gsr tranny and it was working just fine. but when the car is at running temp and driven for like 2 hours it would stop going in gears. only way it will go in gear is if i turn off the car and put it in gear and turn it back on. the clutch pedal feels stifer and wants to push back up. i changed the master cylinder before too. so what could be the problem. thanks.
well most of the time your trans is going to be harder to go into gear on lets say a cold day but once your car gets up to Op. temp the gears run smooth. this is usually because the oil hasnt got everywhere yet and is cold and not warmed up.... have you checky your tranny fluid? a new clutch should feel hard!

this happened on my ls/vtec swap an it turned out to be that the clutch wasnt torqued right. well as i did that my clutch fluid was leaking an caused this as well
after i fixed this everything worked out good

when my crv did this it was cause my master and slave cylider both went. this is what the dealership said. good thing i got that warrenty when i bought it. it happened cause when you light up your wheels in a crv 1st gen it just eats up the cylinders. dont know why. kinda bugs me that i cant launch in the thing. oh its also a 5 speed.
