Tranny issues

I have 97 GSR with 53k on it. When I shift from 2nd to 3rd at 5k-8k I get some grinding. If the rpm's are below 5k everything is fine. All other gears shift fine at all RPM's.

Are my sychros going?

Any ideas? What should I do?

possibly the synchros or clutch

TTT i have the same problem, i don't believe it's my clutche since it's fairly new. I've been told it's possibly a shift fork.
