Default tranny code serial numbers

Ok, I'm trying to figure out if my car has a gsr tranny or not. I did the rpm test and for 70mph I'm around 3.5k. I jacked up my car today but could not find the vin number stamped on the tranny, probably because I didn't know where to look for it. So my question is do the serial numbers after the s80 mean anything and would I be able to use that to determine what kind of tranny it is?

you drive to 80mph on a B18C and the rpm should be at 4k

how come people can't read? Like I already stated everysingle dc is stamped with either s80 or y80. You can not use that to distuingish between what kind of tranny it is.

Well yea according to the rpm/mph test I have a gsr tranny but I wanted to be absoultly sure, that's why I was hoping if anyone knew if the serial number had any kind of meaning because my trannycode is s80-3112307.
