Default Tranny Code Question

I just bought my 96 GS-R a few months ago, and my mechanic informed me that the tranny had been replaced. I took a look at the links for the tranny in the forum faq, but there are so many possibilities for the s80 code. So I was wondering if anyone could tell me the exact transmission this is with a picture of the code. Very likely it is just a stock GS-R tranny replacement but just in case. Thanks.

it reads S80-3038976

With a GSR tranny, I can tell you that you can expect to see about 4k rpm at 80 mph in 5th gear. Hope that helps.
