trailing arm bushing
When i go over bumps or drive on a rough road in my DA I hear this squeaking noise coming out of the back like a squeaky bed. Its on and off but always comes back fairly consistent. I looked on some online sites and saw that this is a common problem in these DAs and some shims need to be placed in the trailing arm bushings or something of that nature. Anybody ever heard of this or dealt with it?
Is your suspension stock? The noises could be from a handful of things. However, your trailing arm bushings DO need to be replaced. Its almost certain that they've never been changed before, and since the car is 10+ years old....they are certainly shot. I changed mine and it made quite a difference in how my car feels now....I couldn't be happier.
