Someone told me that the reason that my 90 LS won't rev past 5500 is because my motor is in limp mode because of my tps sensor. is that true and if anyone knows about it can u tell me a little more about it. thanks

It could be the TPS, it could be the ECU, it could be the fuel pump shutting itself off, it could be the fuel pressure dropping off, it could be the MAP sensor, it could be an ignition problem (most likely), it could be lots of things in other words.

Just start checking stuff one by one and report back with some more information.

hey 95 integra, i didnt ask you to be an *** about it, i asked if ANYONE(not just you) has had this problem and if they could tell me about it. If i would have asked if i needed a dumbass to say something gay like you did, you would have been the first to know about it. but otherwise, keep your magical wink fairy to yourself. do you have fun clicking on posts and writing stupid things like that? i am just wondering?

I was actually trying to help by telling you that it could be one of 12 different things and that it "might" be the map sensor or it might not be and there is no positive answer for a post with such little information such as yours.

u might get a better reply from the wink fairy, only she knows if ur throwin codes, have a cell light, etc. because obviously from ur post no one has an idea even how to help you. dont be a dik when u ask a ? and give no details on the prob, only the wink fairy knows how to read minds, not ht

I really don't know what to ask. i am just getting into this stuff, so i don't know everything. My question was if anybody has ever heard of anything like this, obviously no one has, so don't worry about. Just forget i even asked. if you don't know about it, don't say nething. That just means that i should maybe look into it a little more.
