Whats up fellas, i just swapped an h22a in my 6th gen accord and im getting a CEL for the TPS sensor i have swapped the sensors and the plug looks fine. Its really a pain in the *** but is this affecting my performance in any way. Im gonna fix it but its getting fustrating so i was just wondering if it affects my performance??? Thanks

 

I would think so, TPS is a main input for fuel/ignition tables.

 

i thought the map sensor would take over in that case..

 

i would think so the ecu would compair the map sensor with the tps sensor to figure out fuel and ignition curves

 

On all the vehicles I've ever seen, if the tps goes they run like crap in the affected area. I can't say I remember one ever going bad on a honda though.

 

You just need to adjust the TPS.
