TPS Problem!?!?
OK, so I bought this 95 integra with an h22a swap done before I bought the car. all of the wiring was supposed to be professionally done. I redid the gauges in white faces and found out that the check engine bulb was taken out. So I put the bulb back in and noticed that the light was on. So I checked the codes and the car is throwing code: 7,3,and 41. The motor is an OB1 1994 JDM h22a with the stock p13 ECU. No real mods, just bolt on mainly: AEM fuelrail w/ AEM fpr, Apexi v-tec controller, full exhaust with dc headers, intake, msd ignition...upgraded wires..... i think that is it.
So I knew from the beginning that the TPS was never plugged in, but the car always ran ok and it didnt appear to be a problem as the check engine light was not on--because the bulb was taken out-- So I bought a new tps because one of the 3 prongs on it was busted off, I also got a new map sensor which is CODE 3. after installing the new map which was the easiest of my problems, I reset the ecu and that code did not come back.
While installing my new tps though, I cant get any reading on it!? It doesnt appear to make any difference on whether or not it is plugged in, it can be adjusted to either extreme in direction, and it still makes no difference when it is plugged in or not.
So then I thought, maybe it is possible that I mixed up the 2 plugs!?!? So I switched them, Now my check engine codes are saying that the tps is fine and not throwing any codes, but the map sensor is now throwing a code. The TPS still appears to not respond to any adjustments either!?!!?!?
DOES THIS SEEM REALLY WACK OR IS IT JUST ME???
