Default Timing help

Well the head was recently off and didn't do timing marks. How do I time the engine when off it's a b18b

assuming the head is still off it's easy to see the piston at TDC, if the head is on drop a 12'' 3/8th extension down the plug well and spin it by hand till it's at it's highest point. then set the timing on the cams.

Do you not have a lower timing belt cover, crank pulley, and cam gears? They have the timing marks on them...

Should be able to easily line up the timing mark on the crank pulley.
