Default Time to start the mods!

My bro. just purchased a 2000 Integra GS-R a few weeks ago...and I want to jump start his mods by getting him an AEM CAI system polished with the 2.75" Bypass valve...plus, I am thinking of also getting a set of wires and plugs too...and need YOUR advice!

I am thinking of these combo's and would like your comments/suggestions:

Magnecor
Nology
MSD
NGK
Morosso (spell check! )
Accel
Direct Hits
NGK
Denso
Bosch
Beru
...platinum or non-platinum

FYI he will probably just do bolt-on mods for now...i.e. no turbo, supercharger or NOS in the future!

Thanks for your help,

CRAZY KEN

Yeah, leave the stock plugs and wires. It's a complete waste of money to replace them on that car. Do the AEM without the bypass IMO (why pay more to lose hp?). There's nothing else really cheap worth doing.

Like they said, the original plugs and wires should be good.

If the money is really burning a hole in your pocket, then go for some NGK wires and plugs. To keep things simple, the plugs you can pick up at the Acura dealership, and the NGK wires you can get from http://www.optauto.com for under $50.

I would recommend getting the powdercoated rather than polished intake. The way I understand it, the polished absorbs heat a lot more (meaning the air inside is not as cool). I could be wrong though.. someone wanna confirm? :S

unless you have a crazy ignition system, don't get plugwires. They are a waste of $$. Stock Honda ignition is GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRREAAATT!
