ok so how do you know if you ecu is throwing a code.

if your throwing a code you have a nice light on your instrument cluster that is a little bitty engine that means CHECK ENGINE, to check a code, you need to go to your ecu, and take the clip out of the covering, insert a wire into both holes and then turn on your ignition and read the code and then look it up in a manual or a website and then fix the problem......

 

so when my maint. light comes on and blinks longer than normal im nto throwing a code
