Default Throttle Pulley

My dad was trying to tell me that most Hondas and Acura's have a huge gap between the responce of the pedal..

Is there an aftermarket pulley you can by that shortens the responce? I think he said there was, but I dont know who makes it!

Tightening the throttle cable decreases the 'gap' between the stepping on the pedal & reaction the time of the opening of the TB. i tighten mines, and my crx jumps at the chance of revving the motor after a slight touch of the pedal. to also help the 'gap' time, getting a light, non-stiff throttle spring to accompany the throttle pulley should give a very sensitive throttle feel.

i know weaponR sells throttle pulley. maybe str, but i'm not sure.

tightening that crap is almost as easy as changing a lightbulb.

All you need is a 12 mm wrench, loosen the bolt, and tighted the other bolt.

look to see where your throttle pulley is at.......see the cable attatched to it? Thats your throttle cable. Follow it until you see two nuts i believe.....adjust those nuts to tighten or loosen the lag in the throttle response of the peddle

it doesnt make the car quicker, it just makes the car respond faster as you say. soo theres no lag when you stomp on the gas pedal. the reason why they put the lag so granny drivers wont hit the car in front of them if happen to stomp the gas pedal by accident.
