Default Throttle Cable Replacement

I can't figure out how to disconnect it from the pedal. Searched all over the internet and through the FSM and found nothing. I did one on an EM1 and it was very simple. Anyone have high res pics?

Been a while since I had to replace pedals, but if I remember right, at the pedal it just that little lead bulb like on the brakes of a bike, but with a little plastic housing around it that makes it a pain to get off. Sounds like a crappy suggestion but might try taking the seat out so you can lay on your back and see whats going on under there.

That's how the EM1 cable was, but this one doesn't seem that way at all
