Default throttle cable really loose

jus got done doin my ls vtec and when i turned the car over i noticed that the gas pedal was really loose and looked down at it and the cable came off the pedal need help on how to make it tighter and if its still good considering there is about 6 inch slack that i dont need or is it suppose to be there how do i install it and also how do i tighten it pics would difinitely help

Which chasiss is the ls/vtec in? You might need to change it out with a different chassis throttle cable.

its in a 98 acura integra i dont think i need too maybe im wrong though

can you not tighten the cable...? I never done it in my teg but my cavalier can do that

which tb cable is it? ls gsr type r? they're all different as well as the tb stay holder and it depends on which Intake manifold you are using. more info would be great
