How much money you want to spend?

ITR t-body (62mm) $450
Ericks racing t-body (68-70mm) $430

RC re-bored t-body $225 (64mm) (with your core)

I got a RC and love it.

http://www.rceng.com

They do great work, but they don't have throttle body boring listed on their website. They do it though. $225 plus shipping. Contact them. They are a TOP NOTCH company, both in products and customer service.

How would you bore out the throttle body by yourself? Would you need a boring machine or just a drillpress or something? where do you get the parts and what do they cost?

U dont have to bring it to RC to get your t/b ported. Any machinist can port the t/b. I got my gsr t/b ported to 64mm for 100bucks. The machinist bored and tapered the stock t/b and changed the throttle plate to 64mm and also he gave me all new screws for all the sensors on the t/b... If u interested just email fireblade_rr@hotmail.com his name is matthew. He can also do some port and polish and engine rebuild.

Don't get the throttle body. I got one made by JG for my 2000 GSR and when I installed it the car was running erractically and the car jerked alot. My CEL light came on and I was pissed. I don't know why but the shop couldn't figure it out either, so I put my stock one back on and the problem went away.

Yea, I'd have to agree. When it comes to boring out the t-body, it's best to leave it to an expert. I've had JG, and Gude t-bodies, and neither of them compare to the quality work RC does.

Remember, you get what you pay for.

You guys think thats a sensor problem? Since the engine is sucking in more air ?
