Default thoughts on switching over to DC...help me plz

Hey teg guys...im from the EK forum cuz i currently own a 98 civic EX. Where i work, a ford dearlership....some lady just traded in her babied 96 GSR for somethin...and i think i may pick it up. It has 133k on her...and drives fine from what i can tell. There are some dents and the paint aint too good, but thats fine cuz i want a car i can work on and then paint flat black becuz im poor and happen to like the look. They are looking to get 3,000 dollars for it.

my question is...i guess, should i go from a car with 56,xxx miles to one with 133,xxx miles but with a lovely running B18c in her?

I currently am financing my 98 and still owe 5,000. So i would pay the rest of the lone off, and pay 3k for the teg, slowly begin working the dents out and add some love.

Does this sound good or am i just wanting a DOHC vtec too damn badly to see the truth? plus i want to get outta debt

anyway, help me decide one way or another...thanks.

Do a compresson test and see what it show... If over 235, it's still in good shape... I use to own many honda in my life... 81 civic/84crx/89crx si/92 civic si/92 integra rs... Now I own a 96 gsr and I simplym love it... Put good tire on and you won't regret... If the mechanis's good and no rust i'd say why not!

You can always sell it back...

Other wise, you'll never feel a vtec opening...
