ok well..heres the thing...it seems the h22 is costing about 2500 and i dont know how much a itr engine cost...but I HEAR from the grapevine that h22 has more hp and torque....if itr engine is gona cost what i think it will id rather spend the extra moneys getting the h22 stuffed in there...BUT then i cant say my ls is really a itr in disguise ....man im having problems
when it comes to peak hp and torque, the prelude has more, but the B series engine is a mch better engine for you car, it is lighter, the ITR engine has a better powerband. If you had a ITR and a Prelude in a race, the Prelude would beat it off the line but theITR would be very close behind and when it would hit 3rd gear, the ITR would take off and have the prelude eating smoke from his tailpipe.
But if I were you and had enough money to drop a whole engine, I would just go out and buy a GSR or B16 head, get some good internals, a hondata ecu and the regular bolt ons and you will be able to beat a prelude and an ITR.

theres this myth going around that the h22 is
loads heavier than the b18c5. Not true.
The weight difference is about 140 lbs I believe
which can be made up for by the extra torque
that the h22 puts out. But the h22 is not a bolt on affair like the
b series motors which can cause complications of not done right.
I would personally get a gsr or just stick with the ls motor.
Imo of course.
