Thinking About Selling My Integra Please Read And Give Me Your Opinion
Well i have came to that road were i need to make a choice, I currently have a 95 Integra se 2dr. Its in great shape white/ with grey leather interior but it has high miles and has some small rust starting to show around inner fender lip. But heres what i need to descide im leaving for the navy in december and after bootcamp i will have about 2,000 plus saved up for a down payment and im looking at either getting a 2000 ITR, 2000 gsr or a 2001 Celica GTS. I just need opinons on which car, i like all three and the celica and the gsr are about the same in hp any suggestions ???

Hmm, if you are only gonna have 2 grand saved up, I would buy something thats a little more in your budget. Maybe an older GSR? Like 94-97?

Don't make yourself a slave to your car payment. I would find something cheaper or just fix up what you already have...

Its not going to be easy to sell your car...Im trying to sell my SE right now and Im not having a easy time doing it. BTW, mine is one of two listed(94-95) on autotrader within a 100 mile search.

don't get a celica... get a new gsr. who cares about a car payment.... yeah it does suck but when the loan is over you'll have a nice car instead of a really old car. buy i gsr or type r if you can find one, but don't get a celica... they are good cars but you'll be alot happier with acura

Well im not really gonna have to slave to make my car payment , i just enlisted into the navy for 4 years , so i dont think i will have anytrouble making the payments since i dont have anything else i will really have to pay for, and military ins. is hella cheap. The reason why i want like a 2000 or 01 is because the bank will go longer on the loan because its a newer car and that will drop the payments even more. So would anyone take a turbo'd GSR over a Type R, or should i just go for the ITR

Don't get the Celica, the gears are so tall it doesn't move(slow as Fu**). If u can handle the car payment ITR all the way. But if $ is an option get a GSR.

Ok , thanks for all the suggestions, i will try for a ITR first and if that wont go then i will just get a 00 gsr and take out extra money and build the motor and boost it

Save yourself the stress of having a car payment... Use the $2000 towards building the car you have now....turbo your ls and save up money to clean it up/ rebuild the motor

Use the money you'd put to a new car and fix yours up. I know that doesn't sound to appealing to have the same car still, but you'd be surprised what a few new things can do for your car.
Start with rebuilding the motor, then save for a turbo, then maybe some body work, then maybe some new seats. The possibilities are endless.
Although if you think its possible, I would go for the ITR. It just sounds that you're working off of a budget that is not quite up to paying for an ITR and the insurance that goes along with it for the young man that you probably are.
Just my thoughts,
JP

True, but to get the 350Z equally equipped (brembo brakes, etc.) with the G35 you have to get the track model, then the G35 actually costs less.
Both are awesome cars for the price though!

Re: Thinking About Selling My Integra Please Read And Give Me Your Opinion (C_tech97GSR)
Yeah im only 21 but here is how im looking at it, currently i am paying 150.00 a mnth for my 1995 Integra SE, 2dr. If i do sale it my payemnts on the itr or gsr will run me from 350 to 500 a mnth. But i really dont think thats out of my range because like i said i joined the navy for 4 years active and 4 reserve, and im going in as an E2 so basically for the next 4 years i dont have to pay rent, my automobile ins. gets cut in half and from what my friend says he pulls around 1200 a mnth and thats just his spending money. So i think i should be fine to get either one

you can make your car perform just as good if not better than the itr just on the money you'll save from insurance and car payments...besides with an itr, u'd always be worried someone is out to steal your ****
