thinking about selling my GSR, how much you guys think i can get?
Hey guys, Im seriously thinking about selling my GSR. Heres the specs:
1994 GSR Paradise Blue in color
Stock engine, 138500 miles.
New ignition system
MSD wires
AEM cold Air intake
AEM Fuel Rail
AEM upgraded rotors in front, Brembo x-drilled/slotted in the rear
AEM brake pads up front
Zex NOS System (used only about 6 times) *55shot*
Rota Impact 17x7.5" rims
Alpine Components (top of the line)
2 JL 12w3 Subs in a custom vinyl enclosure
2 JL amps, 1 500w mono block and 1 75x4
Pioneer 7" AVMP-7000CD in dash LCD screen
Pionner 6 Disc DVD changer custom installed into an arm rest between the rear seats.
Alpine DVD satellite navigation system
Leather interior
Indiglos
Clear corners, Altezza Tail lights
DC 4-2-1 Headers
HKS super drager Exhaust
Denso Iridium Spark Plugs
Undercar neon from Street glow
Weapon R coilovers
Tockico Shocks
I'm sure theres somethings i forgot... I can take pics if anyone is interested.. REcently someone poured acid on the car, but it's going in to the shop to get a new paint job.
Also, I have a brand new JDM Type R conversion kit sitting in my garage, never been used, still in boxes/wrap. might sell that too.
The engine in the GSR has a few problems, may need to be rebuilt.
What do you guys think I can get for this? I may or may not sell the navigation and dvd changer with this, Im not sure yet.. Depends on the prices i can get for it.
Thanks Guys

Go to Edmunds or the Kelly Blue Book to see the value of your car. Besides the stereo equipment and possibly the rims, the other modifications do not add any value to the car and some even drop the value. The stereo and rims may give you a couple of hundred dollars extra, but there's no way you'll get what you paid for it. Things like a NOS system will actually drop the value of the car since it isn't legal on the street and the loud exhuast will also detract buyers.
Your best bet is to return the car to stock the best that you can and then sell the parts on eBay.

9-10 grand, first you gotta take the zex out...or give evidence that
u weren't abusing it...like a compression test on all cylinders soo the buyer
knows the engines still good.
try selling it to a ricer for 10-11k

8-9k take out all the mods and sell them separetly most dealers and some private owners look at mods as a bad thing because they think you beat on the car

ugh, I don't know how many times I said this. Here goes.
Go to any of these websites to find out the value of your car. Remember, these will be the value of your car in stock form.
kbb.com
edmunds.com
autotrader.com
Selling the car in stock will probably attract more potential buyers. Selling the car with those mods will narrow your buyers down (Performance oriented people like you and me).
The average buyer won't look for mods, nor will they calculate the price of mods into the value of the car.
But it's really up to you.
You should try to sell the car as-is first though...you might get lucky. Try to advertise your car where performance-oriented people like you and I "hang out".
*copied/pasted from a previous post I wrote. too lazy *
