Re: Thinking about getting a GSR. (RevolutionY2KGSR)
your best bet would be to get a early 94-95 RS/LS and drop a JDM B18C with LSD.... If I could do it all over again, this is the route I would take.... oh wait, I am doing this. lol....
I don't know how much you are going to spend on a car but let me give you a break down on that set up...
95 integ- $4500
JDM ITR motor -$4000-$5000
which is faster than a 00 gsr and cheaper.

If you are going to get a gsr, you better garage it, thats my main suggestion. If you park it outside, somebody will try and steal it, its pretty much guaranteed that somebody will **** with it.

Re: Thinking about getting a GSR. (JMod)
I got a gsr sedan. It's a great and fun car to drive as a daily driver. If i had to pick again, i probably wouldn't buy anything else, The thing about gsr is it has very little tq, but that goes for most honda's, but the top end is pretty crazy for daily driver. Not to mention, it's a very reliable car. But due to to the rep it has, the insaurance is not funny.

not much cheaper lol im getting the car for $10,000, my parents are financing the car for me so they said i cant a.) get a car older than 98, b.) do an engine swap, c.) get a car with more than 70k miles.
otherise i would be getting a 2nd gen teg and doing an engine swap.

Yeah it does suck to be paranoid about the car getting stolen all the time. Even when its in your own driveway.

I love my GSR, but if I can do it all over again, I think I'll get a E36 M3 or something because they have TORQUE and does not UNDERSTEER as much. However, the 8000 rpm sure is crazy fun =D
