things to do when REBUILDING ENGINE
hey guys im about to start rebuilding my b18b. just wondering if you guys can put some input on what i missed or what i should do while the engine is out to be rebuilt.
so far what i plan on doing is.....
got the cylinder honed, putting new rings and gasket along with head gasket & seal kit.
also getting arp rod bolt, head stud and acl rod bearing kit. and lastly putting new timing belt with water pump, front and rear main seal and type r oil pump. my car is boosted on greddy 18g kit but will break the car in for 5000 mile stock and will be putting on the turbo kit afterawards. i think its pretty much everything so if you guys have any other suggestion or advice what to do please post it...... (i am on a budget so replacing rods and piston will be tough for me)
also is the gsr and type r oil pump different?

so you have to take out the valve to install valve seals rite? thats wat i thought.....
damn im running low on my budget but i guess i might as well as get it done.....
any other recommandations?!?!?!

the seals are simple, especially if the head is already off. all you really need is a pair of needle nose pliers to remove them and a deep socket to put them on. i did some awhile back, not an integra, and used a deep magnetic socket and lightly tapped them on. with the heads off, you don't have to worry about the valves dropping.

if youre taking your head to a shop, those guys will usually take care of all the valve **** for you for not that much more, the machining is the bulk of the cost.
