Default is there a diff tween tegs

I'm trying to find out if theres a difference (for headers )between 94-99 gsrs and 00-01. I've been shopping round for headers and noticed this. Is there like a different catback placement for 94-99 vs. 00-01?

the 00-01's have the imobilizer chip in the key.

98-01's have a slightly different front end than the 94-97's.

Oops!

That'll teach me to skim a post and answer what I think you're asking instead of what you really want to know.

Yes, the 94-99 GSR header is shorter than the 00-01 GSR. The 00-01 GSR header is exactly the same as the 94-01 LS, 97-01 ITR header though (with 1 o2 in the header). For this reason, the exhausts for the 94-01 LS and 97-01 ITR will also fit on the 00-01 GSR, while the 94-99 GSR will not work on those models.

it has to do with the 02 sensors...on 94-99 i think the sensor is in the cat, on 00-01 its in the header. Or i might have it backwards

This is partially right, so here is a summary:

90-91 Integra, had one o2 on the header (on the left most runner) - none on the cat
92-93 Integra, had one o2 on the header, at the collector - none on the cat
94-95 RS,LS,SE - had one o2 on the header at the collector - none on the cat
94-95 GSR - had one o2 on the cat, none on the header (hence the shorter length)
96-01 RS, LS, SE, GS, ITR -had one o2 on the header at the collector, one on the cat
96-99 GSR - had no o2 on the header, had 2 o2s on the cat
00-01 GSR - had one o2 on the header and 1 o2 on the cat

Good choice, why didn't you go with the JDM ITR like you posted about this week? Too much of a hassle?

When I had my GSR, I wish I hadn't bought the 4-1, I used to bang the **** out of it. The bottom two runners ended up so crushed I might as well have had a 4-2-1.

DC roads + 4-1 + neuspeed race don't mix.
