Default diff in years of itr trannys

hey , i just got a 01 brand new itr trnany from LEN what is the diff in the USDM between the years ?? thanks

Serial numbers maybe, mechanically there are no differences.

i thought the 97 itr trannys had a crapper lsd or something liek that

also something about how you can see through the tranny with the older kind of lsd

No, all the US market ITR's had the same tranny. You can tell if any Honda tranny has an LSD by looking through where the axles go. If you can see all the way through with nothing in the way, the you have an LSD.

The only difference you might see is with the differential bearings. Some have taper styled bearings and other have roller bearings.

You can get used ones here and there, but the price on a brand new one is well worth it considering the fact that it is indeed brand new.

yea, but understand that you MAY not get a warenty if you have problems with your BRAND NEW Tranny . . . my boy jason bouchard got screwed for 1750$ on a new tranny when it had grinding issues right off the bat. . . and he crossed all the T's and dotted all the lower case j's just to keep make sure he would keep his warenty, and
now hes fooked
