Test Pipe length question.
So I just got a JG Edelbrock header from a fellow HT member. I noticed the part number on it says its for a 94-01 RS/GS/LS. I have a 95 GSR. I know the A pipe is longer on the LS. No big deal cuz I was going to get a test pipe anyway. Now, should I get a test pipe made for a 94-01 LS? Will that bolt up to my catback? Thanks.

I'm installing the header myself. I dunno if any muffler shops around here are cool enough to let me by since its illegal to remove the cat. If I can get a good price around here, I'll probably do that...
would something from here work? :

thats what I thought. I'll email them today and find out what exactly they carry. I guess I'll be running open header for a couple days.

It all depends on what place you go to. If it's a smaller business, sometimes they wont care just so long as you take responsibilty for it if you fail the emissions test so they don't get screwed. But most places are skeptical about taking it out.

of the 12 places I called, only one would do it, for about $60.
I'll try ordering an LS test pipe from the above site. I guess it'll be interesting running open header for a couple days. Bleeding ears own me, at least I don't HAVE to go driving anywhere for the next few days.
