Default temp sensor

hey guys i just picked up a 94 rs its a 2dr 5speed. when i turn my car on and let it warm up the temp gauge works but when i start driving it turns off, sometimes it doesnt even work if i let the car warm up, like it doesnt work at all. i was wondering what this could be, if it was just a loose connection or something

i don't think it has anything to do with the ground on the tranny, if so, you would be having other issues too, not only the temp gauge.

IMO, i think it is your temp gauge. they are found near the housing for the thermo.
you can get one new, or take a chance with a used one.
