we all have that needle location on our temp gauges. thats what it will always look like unless you have a major issue.

its a dummy gauge BTW, your water temp will fluctuate +/- 10-15 degrees under normal driving. if you had a real gauge.

I replaced my theromstat with one from Salvo Auto parts, it went from sitting half way inbetween and C and the thermostat icon to sitting where his is.. i talked to a random person with an integra same whatever and he said his sits 1/4 between C and the thermostat.. soo.. maybe the Oem gives the lower temp? Which brand are you all using, lets figure this thing out

mine was 180F and their was another one which was 195 but uh no thanks on that

In the manual it does say it should be there, i have a 94 ls. Before it would sit half way between the two icons and go up not even to where it sits now when it was idiling and when i moved it would go right back down.. Idk.. the air now blows way hotter then it ever did before, so if they all say its ok.. well im glad then cuz i thought i messed up

i never do see any of my two fans on.. is that with AC or something

My temp gauge actually sits 1/4 between C and the halfway point, not sure if this is really normal or not...

This is actually not normal in case anyone else has this problem. I had a bunch of places check it out and finally one of the places came to the conclusion that it was the temperature sending unit. They figured this out by measuring the temp with some kind of external device. To my understanding the temp sending unit only interfaces with the gauge in the picture so it has no bearing on how the ecu uses the operating temp. One day I shall put in a new temp sending unit to make sure, but the car has been like this for over a year with no problems and I burn my friends gsr with the same mods at the track.
