Default temp...

my car has a cai and some dc headers and wen i dont ride my car hard the temp goes about under the half line and wen i do ride it hard it stays on the colder side...is this normal and if it is, is it fine?

I think its the extra header you have on there, maybe you should try taking one off... how many do you have on there anyways?

it's always been like that.
Our car's temp gauge only goes up about 1/3 of the way, so it's always on the colder half, unless omething is wrong with your car :-/, then it will go to the hotter side.

A thermostat is really cheap to replace and could be the reason your temps are showing so much variation. Make sure your fans are operating properly also. And make sure your coolant level is between the max and min lines on your resevoir.
