Tein Basics....
Hi guys, I wasn't sure if this belonged in this forum, but I wasn't sure where else to put it.
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone could tell me whether the Tein BASIC Dampers are any good for 94-97 DC2's? Also I can't find where it says how low they go. Any help is appreciated and if I need to move this to a different forum, I will.

But is it okay to keep it here? It really is tech for tegs
And how low do the Omni's go? Handle well? I'm a n00b to most things automotive, I'm just really getting into the scene.

theres nothing wrong with tein basics, they are just that...basic. you can get alot better deals on other ones such as omni, ksport, or skunk2's.
yeah I been looking at the Omni's since the first guy replied....I don't see any bad reviews. and I would be wanted the FULL setup? and thanks a lot guys

The omni's will go lower than you should take it. I am tucking tire all around, and the set up is firm but is not bouncy at all and handles phennominally. In turns it is very firm, but just cruising is very comfortable. Tucking tire already I'd say I could still go about an inch lower. I only buy from streetrays.com if I can. They have great service, free shipping on purchases over $100, and have the omni's for the cheapest I could find.

I use the TEIN SuperStreets on my 90 DA for road racing. They hold up very well and the performance is excellent. They are re-buildable so they can be freshened and re-valved for different spring rates. They have a large adjustment range and can essentially drop the car to the ground.

PM Doopreme ....i helped him install a set of basics on his DC. Last time I heard, he liked them but wanted something that can adjust. With that said, my other friend went with the Tein SS....After riding in his car, I was impressed with the ride quality, dampening, adjustability, etc.....I myself went with a set of TEIN HA's. I was riding on tokico illumina's with ground controls and there was a night and day difference.
