Teg wont start
ok heres the deal. i finally got my brakes workin and took it out for a drive today. i hit a small bump and apparently my radio wires (which arent hooked up BTW) grounded and shorted something out. the bolt in 40 amp fuse under my dash is blown.
here's the back story
Cars been runnin fine the past 5 days. i hit a small bump today and the power to the inside of my car is gone. no RPM's, Speedo, temp NOTHIN. hell my windows don't even work right now. but everything else does, headlights, tails EXCEPT my blinkers.
so any help would be useful here.

i've already taped up the wires and i have no way to get the fuse now all my family members live bout 2 hours away and the teg is/was my only car.
also i am wonderin if that is the main problem or a part of the problem.

ok i replaced the fuse and still there's nothin.
i have no lights on the gauge cluster IE: Anti-Lock, Check engine and what not. i've traced down every wire under the dash and through the firewall all connections are good and secure. so any suggestions?

battery is good.......
i hooked a voltage meter up to every fuse and all of them came up 12.39-12.40
EDIT:
i just got back from checkin it out again, and it appears anything that requires the key to be in the ignition don't work. so do i need a new ignition or what. cuz my fuse for that is good

Check continuity thru the switch, while you wiggle the key around. A circuit drawing will tell you which wires. Until you do that, it could be a bad switch or a bad/loose wire somewhere.
