teg issues
the 94-all the gears are good 1-5th but reverse is just blocked wont even grind in or anything i tried the old run through the gears and try reverse. checked the linkage and the mounts all look good. so dose any1 have any suggestions. so i can know what to look for while in there or maybe im missing something on the outside??
the 91- swapped with a b16a/b17 trans timing was on and has new wires/plugs/cap&rotor.new mounts all fluids are fine. the car studdars from 1400-2000 (jerks in and out not through out the whole rpm) but starts again at 2500. But under heavy acceleration it dosent jerk. we thought maybe spark but everything is basically replaced but the distributor and if it was a pump or injectors wouldnt it have trouble accelerating or be jerking from idle (idles fine and smooth)

Re: teg issues
internal trans issues. try to just slam it in rev. it should go in. you might have to take the trans apart and repair rev.
sometimes the iacv and tps can play an issue. its hard to diag a car thats not in front of you

Re: teg issues
On the 94, I had the same problem, thought it was somethin to do with the clutch because it happened the same day I was putting a new clutch in my GSR. Anyways, it turned out to be the syncro, we could tilt the tranny one way and it would go into reverse but if you put it on the car, it would not go. Took it apart and ended up having to replace the syncro

i thought there wasn't a tps on the car. im also fairly sure its not fuel cause it runs fine under heavy acceleration it used to die out at stops turned out the cap was bad and after that got fixed it started doing this im running out of ideas any help appreciated
and on that 94 does it have syncros in reverse.
