mkay. right after i did my clutch my front engine mount died - it was all torn up and dry rotted. engine was knocking the front like crazy when let up the clutch pedal and put stress on the engine. i replaced it with a used mount i found in a junkyard, no cracks in it and it seemed to be cool (and free). it was fine for 2 weeks. then, the knocking came back n it feels like same problem. i checked all of the engine mounts and none are cracked or anything.

can the front mount be dead, and not have any obvious cuts or cracks?
