Some say the engine runs a little cooler.
Possibly more time between changes.

Con:
Expensive.
Possible adverse affects on high mileage engines, like leaking from seals.

My car has 111,000 miles on it and have been using Mobil 1 synth since 10,000. No leaks (or any problems for that matter). But then again, I started on it when the engine was new. I highly recommend going to it if you have a new car (not brand new, you have to let it break in for a few thousand miles, that's why I waited until 10000). I go 5000 to 6000 miles between changes.

my friend is a honda technician, he has a d15 turbo puttin way over 200hp to the wheels, he has used mobil one since new, take off the valve cover and the motor is spotless, he has another motor of the same type, that used conventional oil, there is sludge everywhere, that's the difference, the cost is relative, it is worth the extra money.....
