5 seconds on google typing in "LS throttle body on "GSR" this is what comes up.

I looked through that all it talks about is that you can use ls cable, I know that but how would you mount it which side, on the top or bottom of IM, left or right side, I tried on all sides but it seems that it's a hair too long and nowhere to mount it

When i had my lsv with my ls throttle cable. This is how i hooked it up and it worked.

I also used the ls throttle body and had th nastiest idle ever!! (Bounced up&down)
So i put the gsr one on and the idle was fixed

You could have told him the part number for the bracket you're using. Why the hacked wires ?

It's the stock Ls bracket. Just flipped upside down.
And the wires, It was LSV an the iat sensor cconnector on the Ls harness is not long enough to reach the iat sensor on the gsr manifold.
So I had to extend the wires. I did slide a wire connector tube over them and then taped it up.
